acronis true image 2014 home, terminal usage

i have this curiosity for a while, maybe someone has more info
dont know if acronis true image classifies as a distro (probably not)
but its based on the linux kernel, and you can access a limited shell
i say limited cause it doesent seem to have much linux tools
and i cant really do very much with it

is this shell usable for mounting and copying,
or its just an unusable remnant of linux and acronis is using the proprietary gui stuff for its operation like android

i have finally found the solution to use acronis linux terminal
to copy move delete files or anything else

switch to terminal ctrl+alt+f2
fdisk -l and mount your partitions normally
the trick is to use mount.ntfs instead of mount -t ntfs-3g

only thing i cant understand, if you access other drives from gui, why dont they appear mounted in terminal?
