Question Xautolock is not working

I have installed xautolock in my Fedora-3 sytem...

But xautolock is not working...
when I Type the command,
xautolock -time 1 -locker /bin/yahoo

(where /bin/yahoo is simple self written script that echos a message.)
After 1 minute it is not running the script "yahoo".. xautolock is running but it is not doing the task mentioned in -locker option after specified duration of no interference.

I tried several ways ... but no result. what could be the problem...

dont know.

this works for sure:

Code:
xautolock -time 15 -locker 'xlock -mode blank'&

xautolock -time 1 -corners 00++ -locker "xlock -mode random -allowroot -timeelapsed -echokeys "

still not working...

i tried it but no use...

xlock is working fine as individual command to lock the screen but xautolock is not able to run xlock after specified time duration..

xlock is working fine..as i type..
xlock -mode random

but when i write..
xautolock -time 1 -locker "xlock -mode random"

xlock is not started after 1 minute. xautolock is not able to execute the locker program after specified time...

it is clear that xautolock is having some problem... but could not get what as there are no hints in strace...

what r the possible chances of xautolock not working?

Which distro you have? That might be a bug, no ? (With stable Etch (Debian), you are sure of your linux)

or something else ...

Code:
killall -e xautolock
killall -e xautolock -9
xautolock -time 1 -locker "xlock -mode random" &
ps -ax | grep xauto
gives you ?

Regards

Using -noclose option of xautolock could help.
