The window tabs I opened are not shown in taskbar ,I can't switch the tabs plz solve

If I opening a window and minimising it then it vanishes there is no option for me to maximize it back,how can I get that back o think by mistakely I have done something can any one solve it

Many desktop environments have explicit options which determine whether the taskbar shows all jobs on all desktops, jobs on the current desktop only, minimised jobs only and so on. You may have set an option which causes this behaviour. Let us know which desktop you are using; for this kind of problem, the name of the desktop is usually more useful than the name of the distro. Then someone who uses the same desktop can give you some guidance.
