Slackware 14.1/KDE4 - Lost File Manager (Dolphin) under Kickoff Application Launcher

Hello,

After logging into KDE, somehow lost when opening up the Kickoff Application Launcher the File Manager (Dolphin) from Favorites. In the Favorite Window, File Manager Icon appears but without Dolphin indicated beneath it in ( ). How do I
restore this?

I don't know what "Kickoff Application Launcher" is but I'm guessing it has a search option, and if locating dolphin and right-clicking to bring up the context menu doesn't have a relevant "add to favourites" option then simply dragging it into the favourites area should work.

Unless what you've done is change the default file manager, in which case try going to System Settings > Personalisation > Applications > Default Applications.

Hi boughtonp,

From the Desktop the "Kickoff Application Launcher" probably should of been stated as the "Application Launcher" as an icon on the bottom tray. Clicking on this brings up the Favorites Window. In the Search command line, I entered dolphin and a Dolphin File Manager Icon appeared. I simply right clicked to restore it back into "Favorites".
