Post Saving a gnome-session

Hi,
This is regarding saving gnome-session.
There is a command called 'gnome-session-save' which saves the gnome-session, so that when the user logs in again, he would have the same layout which he had before logging off (basically a snapshot). But, it does not save the text in the terminals. In other words, when I save a gnome-session, logout and relogin, although the terminals are present, all of them are blank (as though 'clear' command has been issued on them).
My question is, how do we save a gnome-session, so that even the text and cursor location are retained when I re-login?

Please help.

Regards,
Sreeram

I don't know that you can do that.

What you might want to do is start "screen" in each of your terminal sessions. The screen command essentially runs your terminal session the background. You can then attach to that session from another terminal including restarted terminal sessions in gnome.
