KDE not saving session properly

Hey everyone,
I'm a newb at linux and i've managed to get slax w/KDE running off of my 256MB USB drive. However i can't get it to retain all the settings i change (bookmarks, folders, etc...). I've tried to change the control center so that i'll save my session manually and then boot it the next time, but that setting seems to be overwritten everytime aswell. Any ideas?

Nothing to do with the fact that you say you're running it from a 256MB usb drive ??? by chance ?

Hallo,

which filesystem are you using? Can a normal user (not root) write changes to the drive (in his home-direcotory)?

Well right now i'm gonna try and partition the usb drive so that there's an actual filesystem for data storage...
