Unhappy problem installing red hat 5.0 on HP pavilion p7-1280t desktop

When I boot from the install disk the red hat start screen comes up ok. I hit enter to install in graphical mode. All kinds of stuff loads. I select language and keyboard type. Then it asks for media and nothing seems to work.

The old Redhat EL 5.0 = year 2007 is not supposed to be used anymore.
The 2011 version is RHEL 5.7 ( Is an updated 5.0 ).
Soon to come : RHEL 5.8
http://distrowatch.com/index.php?dis...h=all&year=all

EL 5.0 is not supposed to work in a "2012 computer".
Please use EL 5.7 or 6.2 .
