Linux on Intel Mac Book Pro

I want to install Linux on my Mac Book Pro as the sole operating system. In other words, I'm not wanting to run boot camp (which partitions the drive and allows you to dual boot it in windows) or run a virtual OS.

What would be a good Distro?
