Thank you very much. I clicked the Download link, a big down arrow, and I got a .cab file. Can that be the driver? Its the only link there is on the page. Furthermore, the file name consists only of digits.
cab-files are a Microsoft specific archive format, similar to zip or rar. If you follow the instructions on that site how to install the driver this should work.
Well, the case is that when giving Windows the driver path, it says he doesn't find any information file (I think it means a .INF file. Perhaps the file should be unziped with expand.exe, which is what I'm going to do now.
I could install the drivers inside the .CAB (after extracting them with expand.exe). Also, just in case, I downloaded the Ethernet controller drivers and installed them. I now have internet connectivity. Question: are the SM bus drivers important in regard to internet connectivity? They are not installed.
