What happened to GNU's ftp software directory?

I tried to download parted from the GNU site but the file and every other file has been replaced by:

"The following files are not available because their authenticity is
being confirmed. We expect to have them uploaded Real Soon Now (RSN)."

Now I checked the date of the messages and apparently GNU software has not been available since October.

What happened to their software?

Are all these programs discontinued?

Help!
Vince

Yes. The FTP site it refers to and all its mirrors do not have parted and most other utilities.

I found out that their site was hacked in July 2003. 7 months is not enough time to MD5 checksum a few hundred files? What has happened to these programs?

I ran into the same thing when doing LFS 5.0.
I wondered about it but had forgotten.

Does anyone know?
