Automatically Copying files from the ftp directory into the html directory


I want to be able to copy all the files from the pub directory into my html directory. Also, im remotely connected so i can only use the console. ANy help would be appreciated, thanks.

right, but i actually have to be there to type it in. could i set up a .perl script to do it?

Why not schedule it as a cron job on whatever interval you want? See man crontab.

Why make a second copy? Making a hard link would save a lot of disk space. See man ln.
