It's a shame General doesn't allow likes and dislikes as it would be cool to know more about what others here appreciate. However, if anyone liked St. Paul and the Broken Bones this is a bit similar just a tad more Rock 'n Roll... still got that Bluesy Soul thing goin' on though.

As regards evidence of other users' musical predilections, the posts in this thread are the most that you can hope for.
There are only ... like 2 ... frequent posters in this thread whose suggestions I will look up regularly, myself. Other posts may arouse my interest, but I cannot say, why. Likes and Dislikes would not make much sense *in this case*, you would not know what they express.
It is the same on most platforms where such a function exists. I remember that, on Amazon, most positive ratings where given for consensus and negative ratings certify a divergence of opinion. A “Like” would just mean: “me too”.
What I would propose :
me too
me neither
never heard of that
makes me feel bad
makes me feel good
or that the OP sets an evaluation item that her/his readers can use or ignore, for each post.
A radio show on France Inter, where Michka Assayas presents the third volume of Joni Mitchel's archives of unpublished work and demos from the 70s. I want to give you the link to the mp3, but I do not yet have the direct URL. Here is the show already (still running): https://www.radiofrance.fr/franceint...e-2023-1886796
... and : Wow !
Edit: Darn.
They have changed the site again and my web-scraping script does not work. I wait for the RSS stream to be updated and give you the link later.
I love Nanci Griffith. "Poet in my Window" is an outstanding album.
For me, she is a discovery. But Michka Assayas, the radio-host of these broadcasts has surprised me many times in this way. I would never have known so much good music, had there not been a few people around who talked about it anyway.
I only fear that we know more fantastic American music than you know of our outstanding European talents. The world is quiet big that way ...
Can it become any better ... Live at the Calderone Theater, I think that is the concert which you find on YouTube. But there is a strong chance that I will order both records.
Edit: “Order Both Records” ... both are available as a bundle for download. I only saw this today.
