I regard Shariat as the most negligent of women's rights.
Why...

In Islam, pious men get 72000 or so beautiful virgin fairies to fsck in heaven,
while a woman gets to be the leader of the same 72000 fairies. Kind of unfair, I'd say, except if Islam loves lesbianism in heaven. (must be blasphemous on earth).

Anyway I am not the least scared because the leading global economies are going to collapse, global warming is going to unleash a wave of disease which will effect the next mass reduction in human numbers.
We are going to have a new world, rejoice...

alright Jim, you didnt create women, but by allowing them free reign, the older generations have encouraged womens bad side.

a womans default setting is selfishness and destruction. yes they are usually good with their own children, but they dont care a damn about yours or mine.

this is the reality folks:

A. you (slightly) opress women through religion for the good of children and the wider society in which we all live.

OR

B. let them do what they want at the expense of children and society, to the point where we all suffer.

we are currently @ B. in Britian.

and it doesnt matter, either A or B, women would still feel opressed, because its in their nature. we are not dealing with a mirror image of men.

well, as I get flammed for saying even obviously logical things, I think Ill go all out and say this:

I think women are insecure about their position in 'mankind'.

men are close to the point in our technological development, that we will be able to clone ourselves, without the need for women. and I think subconciously, this scares women, reproduction is their main role (and an incredible tool for the manipulation and control of men), take that away, what do they do?

Im not saying men will go down the route of just cloning little versions of themselves, and so effectively women cease to exist, but thats how women think.

anyone heard of 'the battle of the sexes"? that phrase is always used by women, they are constantly in a combative animal struggle for survival.

how many times have we heard "we dont need men anymore, we have frozen sperm now!".

that gentlemen, points to a deep insecurity about womens position in 'mankind'.

bashy, prozac was invented for you. I really am not interested in getting involved with any of your irrational arguments. I am sorry that your mother treated you badly, but you need to get over it and get a more rational outlook on the universe.

Short of that, you really have nothing to say that I (or, evidently, most of the other people on this board) are interested in.

In the meanwhile, please don't hijack this thread.

And I'm agreeing with Jim's sentiment here. Emancipation of women in the UK has absolutely nothing to do with the Sharia arbitration councils being set up. One did not cause the other to come into being. As I have said before, there are lots and lots of blog platforms out there if you want to rant about women. Personally, I like women, they smell nice

well Im sorry, Jim, Im giving my opinion on why I think britain is screwed, to the point where sharia law is being considered.

and as for my mother, she has just helped me see the truth. its not being irrational to observe the reality.

Jim, or anyone else, maybe you would like to put forward your ideas on why all this is all happening?

yes it has, because political correctness stems from feminism, that says everyone is equal, and all minorities should be treated with, in most cases, respect they dont deserve, even to the detrement of society at large.

this causes disharmony in the native population, who quite rightly dont want their land to change. it is their land, their grandfathers fought off the Nazis, they have every right to want to live in it the same as its always been.

BUT NO.

political correctness says we must treat everyone with the same respect.

YOU MUST respect the jewish community and Jewish parents when they circumcise (butcher) their young male children.

my thoughts on this is that those Jewish parents that cut their sons should be prosecuted under british law. if you dont like it, pack your bags and move to Israel.

BUT NO, these groups have special immunity under political correctness, and no one is allowed to challenge them, for fear of being called anti-semitic, racist, mysoginist, or whatever term fits the context.

So you disagree with the race relations board too? You like slavery do you?

Actually, common courtesy dictates you must treat people with respect.

What about non-Jewish people who circumcise their children. Or who request it for themselves?

no, ofcourse I dont like slavery. where did I state that I do? as usual Xavier, you have brought up an extreme example, which barely relates to the point I was making.

no, only those that deserve respect. I dont respect the disabled just because they're disabled. I dont respect black people simply for being black. I respect people who deserve to be respected. and I certainly wont respect those that dont deserve it, just because someone else is telling me I must do.

if that person is an adult then they can do what they like to themselves. the issue here is groups of people carrying out acts of violence towards children, under the protection of political correctness. it should be unacceptable in Britian, wether you are Jewish or non-Jewish. and actually, if a non-Jewish person were to circumcise their child, without a proper medical reason, they would be prosecuted under British law.

Well, this thread did better than a lot of them do. It made it about 60 posts before it headed downhill.

No saving it now, from the looks of it.

you know, you guys can go on and on about arbitration, about the nature of religion, this, that and the other, but at the end of the day, your not addressing the underlying cause of it all.

if you control your women (and I think the best way is through religion), you not only improve their behaviour, you improve your childrens behaviour, you will also root-out political correctness which has allowed uncontrolled immigration into the UK, the result of which is muslims now asking for sharia law.

you can cut the head off the weed, but if you dont address the root, it will just keep coming back.

why is it I can see this and you cant?

is it really because you dont know where to start? is it because the job of controlling women seems to big, that it cant be achieved? well it can be achieved, men have been doing it sucessfully for thousands of years through christianity and islam. its only in the past 100 years that we abandoned common sense.
