@linus72 - What you're saying not only sounds like religious prejudice but it makes you seem ignorant of the ways of the world as well as extremely judgmental. Look at the diversity under the wing of Christianity. Do you suppose all Christians drink strychnine and dance with poisonous snakes in their mouths? A "boad brush" just won't do to describe any group larger than a hundred or so. It's just ridiculous to try lump millions.
All bibles by their very nature are cryptic and interpreted in a near infinite number of ways. Mohammed was a warrior so the Quoran naturally has language steeped in warrior culture that sounds violent in some places to us. It is far more puzzling how a pacifist shepherd ends up with so much violence but it does. Books can't be evil since they are inanimate. Only people are capable of evil. There exist evil Christians and evil Muslims or more accurately evil people will find justification someplace. Try not to fall into collectivist labeling traps or risk falling into evil yourself.
Oh yeah it's real "cryptic" where it says "Kill all unbelievers" or "behead those who do not believe in Allah" kind of hard to interpret those and all the others right?
No more remarkable than any of the equally-bloody commands and prophecies that appear in the Bible, actually. Including, say, the commands given on the eve of a battle that the Israelites are to not leave even one animal standing in the land that they were about to [try to ...] conquer. Basically, "this is par for the course." And it is, inevitably, "the god's own sacred command[ment]."
Of course you're going to say that the gods, whoever they might be, are going to fight for you, and that (if you survive the next six hours ...) you are doing their holy work. That's motivational speaking. You'll also have the aforesaid deity promising the eternal destruction of the people you don't like ... even though you can surf to those places on Google Earth and very plainly see that they are not burning with eternal fire; at least, not yet.
And so on. Sure, there are "hot heads" out there who are predisposed to do nasty things and who look to various books for justification. But you just can't characterize a people that way. Fact is, most people actually just want to live their own lives, more or less in peace. And they more or less do so. "Right boring, isn't it?"
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.
The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities - but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.
What percent of whats make war, (i.e: politics, religions, stupidity, etc...) would politics be higher than religion or is it that we're still evolving from apes?!.
Kids can start towards the military at almost any age even tho their brains won't stop developing until around twenty-five, ten years before they can run for "commander and chief."

People on the street they wannna find a god they'll never know,
organized religion pulls the blinds then they pull the wool,
they open up your head, they're fuckin' with your mind,
now you can't see because you're blind
You try to make amends but your heads still spinnin' round,
the church of Jesus Christ said it's time, don't fuck around,
you wanna go to heaven, you see it isn't free, give your money up to me
My god is not the one that you wanna see, your god is a mirage,
a conspiracy, you pray for forgiveness cause your sinnin',
scared to death so your money you'll be givin', yeah
(Ohoh)
Holier than thou with your one way morality,
I think your shallow faith isn't based in reality,
you don't like how were live, we're sinful and obscene,
why are you judgin' me?
You're richer than God but you're cryin' out for more,
you're livin' like a king while you steal from the poor,
wanna be forgiven, get on your knees and pray,
send in your cash and be saved
My god is not the one that you wanna see,
your god is a mirage, a conspiracy,
you pray for forgiveness cause your sinnin',
scared to death so your money you'll be givin',
yeah, better hope you've been chosen to be saved
(Ohoh)
Cause your empathy only goes so far today
Pay no mind to those in pain if you just want the souls
who are willing to pay
Their way, your god's not for me
My god is not the one that you wanna see,
your god is a mirage, a conspiracy,
you pray for forgiveness cause your sinnin',
scared to death so your money you'll be givin',
yeah, my god is not the one that you wanna see,
your god is a mirage, a conspiracy,
you pray for forgiveness cause your sinnin',
scared to death so your money you'll be givin',
yeah, stop
I fought a war over god, I don't want my child to fight for the same reason. The faster we get god out of the international consciousness the better the world will be.
The rise of Islam is the real danger.
Wherever they go with their vile books of death only chaos reigns.
Are you aware that most of your country's gains in the "War on Terror" (including the conquest of Afghanistan, the "Awakenings" that defeated Al Qaeda In Iraq, and the current campaign against the Islamic State) depended on the help of Muslim allies? And that many Jihadists see the general Muslim world as their greatest enemy?
The schools of Islam (all of which seem to be Sunni, such as Wahabbism,) that give rise to these groups, sure. Islam in general, no.
Anyway, my own prediction is that WWIII will begin the way WWI started, with the belligerent nations joining not because they actually have a stake, but because their political situation obligates them to.
