I'm not sure what is more depressing about this ... .the fact that someone took the time to pen such a lengthy satire article, or that *so many* take it seriously
"BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos..."
clearly, a lot time in researching was made in this article and about the same amount or time was also used to check the spelling
the most significant downside of the technological advances we have achieved in the last hundred years or so may be the survival of an ever increasing population of morons whose sheer numbers now skew the path of human development from the possibility of any true enlightenment to a true debasement of basic human dignity-hence the sense that such idiots(as presumed in this "warning to parents") do exist is found either credible or ludicrous with conviction by large numbers.
i didn't know adequacy was back up-the old stuff was typically more subtle(some great trolling done there) and i believe some guys on this site were baited awhile back on a similar thing.
i did enjoy it and i was glad to see the "authorities" brought into it repeatedly with suitable reverence-remember, we are ruled by the majority-when the majority are morons, we will be ruled by morons;you decide if we've reached that point yet. my personal view is that you look at the morons we have running things across the board and you deduce that the morons are already in the majority.
