Wow! How did Boris Johnson get dragged into this. His "letter-box" comment came as an aside in an article advocating the freedom to wear what you like when others were demanding that burkhas, hijabs etc should be banned. And he's no mysoginist - he seems to like the ladies too much, if anything.

The PC thing that sometimes gets annoying is when people say that "mankind" is a sexist term because it has the word (or same letters) as "man". Even though it is just a word and encompasses both men and women. Whereas "womankind" is specifically the female collective. As one of the elites, Johnson can simply get away with a history of very non PC comments such as:

Now consider certain other MPs who have had certain historical comments of their's unearthed - comments which were not made on a 200k plus salary, but on some social media posting - and we have seen that typically outraged baying for blood...
