It was always the case, it's only the "online" part that's new - Joseph Goebbels achieved a frightening amount using newspapers and radio.

A social justice warrior in Mensa, she's a chimera right out of the gates...

Feel free to call me a "geeky nerd [anti-semitic slur][lgbt slur]" in the name of free speech, those all fit to some degree.

You can't do it here of course, there are forum rules. But I won't report it if it's in a PM.

Wow! How did Boris Johnson get dragged into this. His "letter-box" comment came as an aside in an article advocating the freedom to wear what you like when others were demanding that burkhas, hijabs etc should be banned. And he's no mysoginist - he seems to like the ladies too much, if anything.

There's little between an idiot & mensa, just a little bit of IQ, & a lot of brainy people don't have much common sense either, just look around....

Being intelligent doesn't prevent people being idiots, but IQ is not even intelligence, it's a single test score.

Mensa is for idiots who want to pay an annual fee to interact with other losers.

Now you're a chicken hater enorbet, well that's what they are going to say... so if the chickens start their own coalition, then the feathers are going to fly...

As far as I understand, if one is a practitioner in certain sects of voodoo, it's reverence rather than hatred [ref. Nana Togonmesi Abloklu Danfira Adedufira, Vodou child of the Twi speaking people of the Densu].

The PC thing that sometimes gets annoying is when people say that "mankind" is a sexist term because it has the word (or same letters) as "man". Even though it is just a word and encompasses both men and women. Whereas "womankind" is specifically the female collective. Notwithstanding the fact that you are not allowed to be a particular gender these days...

They don't need to start their own. They already have advocates at least in the UK. There's a group of feminists who separate out the roosters because "they rape the chickens".

"Rape or genocide, ladies?"

"GENOCIDE!"

"Genocide it is! Sorry, chickens!"

Chickens: "It's a relief we have human women to make these reproductive decisions on our behalf. Thanks, ladies! Now, over a ways a bit in Iran..."

You entirely miss the point as to why I brought up Johnson.

As one of the elites, Johnson can simply get away with a history of very non PC comments such as:
Quote:
It is said that the Queen has come to love the Commonwealth, partly because it supplies her with regular cheering crowds of flag-waving piccaninnies
Quote:
They [UK based companies] have a got brilliant vision to turn Sirte [in Libya], with the help of the municipality of Sirte, into the next Dubai.

The only thing they’ve got to do is clear the dead bodies.
Quote:
absolutely ridiculous [...] that people should choose to go around looking like letter boxes
Quote:
If a female student turned up at school or at a university lecture looking like a bank robber...
The "rules" don't apply to Johnson and his ilk, they are there to oppress the likes of you and I.

During his time writing for the Spectator (where he also famously wrote about blacks having inferior brains), he made many similar candid comments about single mothers, about men who fail to take control of their women, etc. Misogyny is a wide term, so "chauvinist", if you will - but your assertion that he "likes the ladies", doesn't simply cancel that out.

Now consider certain other MPs who have had certain historical comments of their's unearthed - comments which were not made on a 200k plus salary, but on some social media posting - and we have seen that typically outraged baying for blood...

I will refrain from observing (he said mendaciously) that the charge of "political correctness" is a favorite of those who would reserve to themselves the right to be offensive so I may point out that one crank does not a movement make.

Well, John Cleese is one of the people saying that political correctness has gotten so out of hand, that there is no point addressing university students anymore.

But what does he know? He's just a guy who makes silly faces and does silly walks.

Well he does also teach an advanced, hands on sex education class
