Yeah, 5 minutes was pretty good. I was hoping for an 'at the same time' type of scenario, but the lag between posts and sorts doesn't allow. Either way, very good show Finegan, I know you had to have held back for me a bit? I'm not the quickest of wit, fastest of posters nor smartest of men... LOL Yer too cool man!

I'll take you up on that drink. Teef or no teef! Yet since tricky will be hitting 20,000 in the next year, maybe we could speed up the time-table? Second round is on me! Three finger shots of some nice Stoli! Mmmm wodka!

I don't know about all that. I think they're just dillusional. What you mean by IRL girl ? Confused ?

Or does that stand for In Real Life girl ? If so, not no more.. she gone.

What! No romance?! You start the flirting, then leave me hangin'. You are such a tease, and that is normally my job

Seriously, I think Tricky is right. I dont know of any other chics here besides myself and Isa. Kinda loney here in the girls room.

And do I name my computer? Only a freak would do that!

Actually, I do. My main computer is called Cerridwen, after the Celtic goddess of the moon. She stood for thoughtfulness and intuition. She is a powerful figure in Wiccan religion.

My other computer is named Athena, because it is my gaming computer, and she was a warrior and very competitive.

My car is even named. I call it Sonic, since I am a pretty fast driver.

Man, how the hell did I miss this one as well?
Quick 'scription of self:

Tall (6'3" with no shoes), well built - oh, alright, a little on the chunky side - with fairly short hair. Can't have it too long else the aftermath of a little incident with a razor in my 1st year @ uni (i.e. went beserk and shaved to the bone) plays havoc (I get a 'Something about Mary' style sticking-up bit). Photo (I'm the one in the middle )

Amours pour le LQ? Never gonna happen. Far, far, far too few ladies that post regularly, and none in the UK.

Oh, forgot. I do name my machines. They all, at some point, take either the name Bitch or Bastard, depending on the severity of the problem.

tricky: Yeah, that's what I meant. I thought you had a girlfreind though, or still had, sorry to hear she's gone! I didn't mean to bother you if it did...

Sorry...I usually finish what I start, but then again, I don't mind being called a tease, it's a first for sure! LOL

well... let's just say i'm not counting on lq to save me from a life of singlehood.

i have kinda named my computer... it's hostname is somniac - but it's not connected anymore because lightning hit the phone lines outside my house last night and fried my modem.
everything else seems ok tho...

it kinda ticked me off too... i was just composing a damning rebuttal for that pathetic futurist thread (and it really pisses me off that he never posts in my forum where i can slap him down)... then suddenly, in a flash of light... my connectivity was gone, and a small wisp of smoke was emanating from the back of my computer. now i'm stuck with posting from work until i get a new modem.

c'est la vie...

Funny you should say that! I think Frankenstein here has a first, second, third AND last name now that you remind me! :P
At least, unlike Betty, he can take it and dish it right back out.

Isa,
Dang, that sucks about the lightning bolt. Hopefully nothing is two terribly damaged. In case you dont already, a backup may be in order.

As for you Mr. Taz,
Dont let the title of tease grow on ya. It takes years of practice and honing your craft to make it work well. And guys are not natural at being teases, so you will have to work even harder.

to tricky: this is terrible to hear, difficult to live with and potentially life-scarring . my heart goes out to you.

to isa: i'm wondering... is it the lightning from the sky or the lightning from the bowels of your creative juices hell bent on striking the next poor packet that was unwittingly and placidly floating through your modem towards LQ at that time?

Oh, come on man! Even with a smiley that's not good. My brother had lightning hit once, completely trashed his system, and most of the other electrical devices in the house. Way back in the good ol' days of his 386-25 w/ 2400baud (isa) modem (Dos 3 + Oddesey). Lightning struck the 'phone line, trashed the ansaphone, phone, modem, computer, jumped from computer to main grid and continued its path of terror, trashing the video, 3 TV sets, a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer! Lightning is not a fun thing!

Thanks, I feel the love at LQ. But really, it's a wound that is quickly healing.

OK, Isa and I have already discovered that estrogen threads are not well liked, so lets be nice and lay off the whole Tricky and ex issue on a pubic forum.

I never had a lightning strike, but my sis got a pwoer surge through and blew out her sound card, video card, and mobo. The CPU and mem were fine though. Thought that was kinda wierd.
