Recommendations for Linux USB O-Scopes
Greetings
As the subject line says I am in the market for an inexpensive Oscilloscope and other than getting lucky with used, the cheapest decent quality solution seems to be USB, or other, connected devices that employ what we already own in a PC to sort out changing waveforms.
I don't mind if people expand on this for other usage but I am solely concerned with simple audio work so as long as it has fast response time up to about 80KHz it's adequate for me and that should be easy since 10MHz is common on even the cheapest scopes.
So anyone with any usage experience preferably but even perhaps just some anecdotal experience is more than welcome to get me started at sorting out what is reasonable and useful. I am encouraged by BitScopes that I read run not only on Linux but even Raspberry Pi so hopefully we will have a few others who are similarly inclined post some experiences.
