This is my current LinuxMint desktop . . . simple, nothing fancy.

But then, I'm still kinda new to all this. OS freedom ... takes some getting used to.

Thanks for the idea, I tried virtualbox and love it.
Here is my new OpenBSD 4.6 guest with xfce4.

Ubuntu 9.04 with Fluxbox window manager, running xcompmgr and three instances of conky.
