macromedia flash ads in mozilla

is there any way to block them? (i don't mean any that might appear on this forum, of course. ) with all the blinking and looping they really seem to be getting more and more obnoxious. i would never surf the web as an epileptic, you'd probably start having seizures.

Usually you have the option to right click and then select to "block this image" and it should block the ad from loading next time, etc.

I can right click on the tab bar and then choose to disable plugins. I'm not sure if this is standard feature or came with the tabbrowser extension that I've installed. The tabbrowser extension is vry useful anyway. you can get it here:

thanks, that plugin looks cool. apparently the readme is in japanese, though, b/c it's coming up as garbage on my system (and i don't understand japanese even if it weren't ).

do i just download the source files and symlink them somewhere? or do i need to do something with that .xpi file? appreciate.
