Macromedia Flash on Mozilla

Hi folks,
I downloaded the Macromedia Flash Player install file. It was a file with teh .gz extension. I used the followign command on it.

Code:
gzip -d install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz
Now I have
Code:
.tar
file. How do I go about installing this?

I am using redhat linux release 9

Thanks!

tar -xzf filename.tar

You could also just have used:
tar -xzf filename.tar.gz

try
tar -xf install_flash_player_7_linux.tar
(without 'z').
You can also use mc to unpack .tar.gz files (just hit enter on the file)

after unpacking, run the installer, and it will do rest for you.

I opened up the files in my gui desktop explorer. That has worked for me. Now I have installed the macromedia player for my machine.

Now where are the sites to test teh installation?
