Post Keyboard Hand Rest

Hi,

I have my keyboard on the edge of a metal-construction, which has a corner, on which you cannot lay your hands on for very long. The metal edge pushed into the skin, that working becomes totally impossible.

I have gone through at least 3 keyboard hand rests in the last month, or so. On one, the glue loosened and the cover slid back, leaving my hands on the sticky, gooey "gel"-stuff. This had the name "Belkin" proudly written on it. http://shop3.outpost.com/product/269...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

The second one, had foam in it (the blue or gray one from IKEA). The fabric started peeling off after a few weeks of usage.

The one i have now, some no-name, is starting to give up on me too.

All of these hand-rest-thingies didn't break on the bottom, but the top, where you put your hands onto.

I am wondering what type (if any) keyboard-arm-rest is better than the one i have tried.

Thanks!

You could consider one of the Microsoft "Natural" keyboards. A wrist rest is included in the design.

Or try one of those which wrap around your wrists rather than rest on the desk.

Not really related to Linux...

I would suggest that you request a suitable keyboard tray with a wristrest.

They all suck, sooner or later they will all fall apart, get used to it, everyone I have ever seen has to replace them every few months.
