True - I thought that one had died (915 posts for that one, 932 for this one). Then again, the screenshots thread is even more huge.

Maybe we could get a magazine published - Best of LQ - General

My dad stuck a Die Hard battery in his truck.. those things are great..

The Bunny does not beat the Coppertop.. but I can buy the Bunny in bulk at Sam's Club.. CHEAP! the coppertop costs more.. so I guess all in all its the same..

I had a Gold Die Hard in my car once. It was crap. Only lasted about 2 years. I went and bought a Interstate. I can crank tractors with that thing.

Wow, lots of replies here and variety. Ok, as much as I'm willing to tell:

37/F/USA (decent: European), hacker (not the bad "cracker" type - I like to learn programming languages, of all things!! - there's (almost) nothing better than an all-night coding binge, creating things that do absolutely nothing anyway ), punk (hair is not mohawk but short spiked/punk, dark, planning to put some pink/red in it), I do wear Hot Topic style stuff, including spiked chokers and bracelets, etc. I'm single/never "mated" (I don't believe in marraige, but would like a life-long male partner - but someone like ME? HAHAHA! Joke, ya. I wish people would accept diversity more in my area. I'm really a human being too.) , I don't believe in religion, I'm (a rather new) vegan, super-glued to my computer and linux RH9 single-user desktop box. Enjoys also making tools that make tools (code programmers might be able to use in their own code), digital art, web page design. If I knew of a good hosting co. I could afford (limited income due to economy, etc.), I would probably put up a rather interesting site/blog, etc.

I also talk too much about nothing (oh, you've noticed )

Anything else is classified top secret and I told you more than you should know.

Seriously, I'm not joking, that's me. Odd, maybe, compared to the rest of the folks here, but I never ever, since childhood even, was one to "go with the flow" so I guess that explains it. Or let's say I have no other way TO explain me. :/ I just hope that I'm acepted still even though I don't fit anywhere near the "UberGeek" profile.

And for those that may think I'm making this up, seriously I'm not. Am I "disturbed" nope, *I* feel fine... But who knows how disturbed others might be by my "type" around here.

Another reason I try to keep as anonymous as possible... I'm really often quite shy, for as you see above, obvious reasons.

(:: thinks to self, 'Ok, misfit, stop expressing yourself. They really don't CARE!' ;> :: )

More metal than punk hair, but the rest fits.

@ delek: I have no idea -- I'm here because of financially I can't move. But really if I could ever move the heck out of here I would... SOUTH! It was like -30 deg F here and I froze my friggin butt off last night, despite the heater on all night (plus my portable heater as well).

@ Kroppus: I actaully don't listen to punk type music though. I go for stuff more like techno/electronica, alternative metal, etc. More like Lords of Acid, Disturbed, Soil, Rob Zombie, Metallica, and my all-time favorite right now: K.M.F.D.M! Oddly, I don't listen to music when I'm on the computer though - I find it too distracting when I'm trying to concentrate on helping someone, figuring out how to do something or coding.

Glad to see some 'punks' in here like me too. I am inspired to start my own home page, but what hosting, etc? I do iframes type stuff and those free, banner-laden things... ugh. Not only that, I don't really like how these paid services put your real name, address, phone number, etc. in WHOIS when you register your domain. It just reeks of trouble. I rather value my privacy (for obvious reasons).

Greetz, all...
