I have used Pcghost since 1990. It started out as an e-mail address and I have used it for all on-line activity ever since. I chose it for two reasons, the first is obvious, I dig the PC platform. The second reason is I used to be the biggest lurker on the Internet, feeling somewhat like a ghost on-line. I got such a good reaction from people when they heard my handle that it stuck.

I am also planning on enforcing my IP rights on the name, so if you see anyone else using Pcghost on the Internet, get their IP for me so I can launch a frivilous lawsuit. Anything less wouldn't be American.

That encouraged me to create an email alias for myself (pcghost@trickykid'sdomain.org) for my domain.. come sue me, you can gladly obtain my debt...

I'm just kidding, I don't need another account to collect spam.

Mine came from the first simpsons episode is ever saw.
the simpsons family is playing scabble to help bart with his spelling test,

bart uses all his letters and spells "Kwyjibo" and says that it means "big dumb bald ape"

im not big, dumb or bald.. or an ape.... but it was the first thing that came into my head when i tried to think of a universal alias that no1 else will be using (so i can have one name for each forum i use)

and just to make sure its unique, i spelled it wrong.. Qwijibow.

Trickykid, I just visited your site (link removed by Harishankar because it's causing this thread to go off-topic). You do seem a bit sore at the election results How to visit other parts of your site (if it is your site)?

Anyway, coming back to the topic:

I don't use an alias. I am me. My real name is Harishankar. Don't need no aliases...

First of all, lets not get this off topic, secondly, I'm entitled to my own opinion. Thirdly, that's the only page currently on my site.

Anyone want to comment on my page, email me and I might respond. Lets not discuss it here though as this shouldn't have even been brought up in this thread as it has nothing to do with this thread.

No... no... don't be so touchy, sir. I was just curious, that's all. No offense meant. I saw your e-mail ID and wondered whether you have a website up at that location. As I said, I wanted to navigate your site, but wondered why you didn't have links.

Yes you are entitled to YOUR opinion...............And it's obvious that you also suffer from short
term memory loss as to what happened on Sept 11, 2001...............I guess you did not have any family
members Murdered by those terrorists.............???

trickykid:

As per your wish, I have removed the link to your website from my post. As I had no idea that it would cause this thread to go off-topic and possibly blow up into a flame war.

I request you also to edit your post to remove the link.

All links to Trickykid's domain have now been cunningly altered so as not to work. This thread is about the reasons for choosing your screen name and it is getting frighteningly off-topic - let's get back on track otherwise this thread will be closed, which will be a shame since it's original intent was innocent.

If anyone has a problem with Trickykid's front page or wishes to bring up 9/11, do so OFFLINE by email or by pigeon post. Thank you.
