settle down guys and put away your flame throwers, no-one is suggesting that anyone is better than anyone else, this is just a thread for those who want to express sympathies for those affected.

if you are concerned about bombs in Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Africa, USA or Russia or where-ever then by all means start a thread about it. There already plenty of suffering and injustice we don't need to add to it by squabbling here.

Exactly, its not a thread for terrorist sympathisers who attempt to justify the actions of mass-murderers of the powerless and innocent, hence why I'm not going to dignify his post with an answer.

If he wants to start another thread about it such as " Why the infidels must die" we'll discuss it there.

I guess you fail to see the difference between a War and a terrorist attack.

powerp, if you care so much why didn't you start a thread? Figure that out and then you 'll have your answer.

Thanks to all who have expressed their sympathies. I think that one of the strengths of the internet is that it can allow people worldwide to express sympathy and to come together.

Since this thread has become hijacked, and since LQ is neither a flame board nor a political discussion board, this thread is closed. Contrary to advice given in this thread, do not start a thread to complain about attitudes to the conflict in Iraq. They will be closed immediately.

Thank you again.
