partitioning Fedora 23 Install

I am trying to resinstall Fedora on my laptop but when i try to partition it I get the error

No valid boot loader target device found. See below for details.
For a UEFI installation, you must include an EFI System Partition on a GPT-formatted disk, mounted at /boot/efi.

my partitioning is as follows

/home
/
/boot
/swap

which ive been using for as long as I've been manually partitioning. Even on my previous installation of 23. So what must I change to make this work?

Seems self-explanatory.
Create a [V]FAT partition, say 100Meg, mount it, install. Without even looking I'm sure there is a bunch of doco on this amongst the plethora of (excellent) Fedora docs.

If you have previously had Fedora on this machine what changed ?.

In a nutshell UEFI/GPT has replaced the BIOS/MBR (legacy mode) in modern PCs. Using GPT/GUID overcomes the 2TB MBR disk limitation and gets rid of the extended/logical partitioning scheme. I believe the manual partitioning wizard has a file system type of BIOS Boot, the recommended size is 200MB and should be the first partition created.

The UEFI configuration should have a legacy mode which switches it back to BIOS/MBR mode if desired.

I'm not sure what happened but i had an error with the graphical environment failing to load and eventually I gave up on fixing it and tried to reinstall, when I did I tried to reuse my home directory otherwise everything was new beyond that I do not know what changed.
