Need help with installing RT2500
Start - got a new job that requires me to learn linux. Figured why not install linux on my personal laptop. I chose Fedora/redhat. I've been scouring the internet for how to install a driver. Something pretty simple on a windows machine. I think i've found the driver and some documentation on how to install it but i keep running into problems.
I'm working off of wiki.ubuntu.com//Rt2500WirelessCardsHowTo this site has helped as far as getting the driver. As far as installing it i've run into these problems.
- sudoer file doesn't contain username - i was able to resolve this using visudo
- now i get - sudo: apt-get: command not found?
These are the problems with install step?!
So anyway Linux is here to stay and i need to learn how it works. But first i'd like to get the internet working on it. So any help would be great.
