Unhappy HELP with RT2500

Hello everyone.... I have a ferrari right now, but I don't have the keys!! I've just installed redhat 9 2.4.20-8, My pc is a Pentium 4 with a generic wireless card, with the chipset rt2500 from Ratlink.... I've tried everything to install the wireless card, but It seems impossible for me! I've downloaded the drivers from the ratlink page, then untared them into a temp folder, then I open a terminal window... I type "make config" and "make install" and I get error messages... I go to LINUX_RACONFIG folder, and type ./Configure and the program asks me for the kernel folder or something... I put the folder, which i think it's "/lib/modules/2.4.20-8smp/kernel" and I get error messages... also the readme says "run 'qmake -o Makefile raconfig2500.pro'" qmake it's supossed to be in every red hat from 7.0 version... but it does not find qmake! I've repaired windows based computers my hole life (Im 20, and i started at 12) and also I've started my degree in engineering (in computers) which is the main reason I've installed red hat and I feel so f*cking silly and dissapointed with this!!!!! If anyone has clear instructions or an auto install package for drivers I will thank you very much....

Sebastián

p.d.: sorry for my english

No, there is no easy way. To get that to work will be very hard. I gave up. Life's too short. For me, it wasn't worth the pain. YMMV.
p.s. Red Hat is very old.
