What do you want to do ?

The spec is available at http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1321.txt. To create and check md5 sums, use md5sum. Such as...
Code:
echo foobar | md5sum

Cheers,

Smile Just...

I just want to get a better grab on what the technology is and among other things to know how to use it to verify the quality of my downloads...plus whatever any other valuable info I can get 'bout it.
