when i want to mount by giving -t option it shows me unknown file type. how it can be done ? can it be done without recompiling the kernel? please suggest me..thanks!
You need to download and install the NTFS driver. See here. This has been asked several times here, you could have done a search. Also, since this is a Fedora question, it really should be in the Fedora forum.
should install the read write for NTFS, I use it, it hasn't failed on me yet. If it doesn't find it, you'll need to add repositories, I'm using the one the unofficial fedora faq's uses. http://www.fedorafaq.org/#installsoftware is instructions for adding their repository setup.
