How to edit "/etc/sudoers"

Hi, all

I just moved to FC5 and had basic packages installed. I want to add my username to "/etc/sudoers" so that I can run some commands as root. The document said that "/etc/sudoers" should be edited by "visudo". However, my new FC5 installation does not have "visudo" installed.

A similar problem is that I want disable/enable SELinux by using command "setenforce". This command has not been found in system. (Note: I typed in commmands as root, it did not any help).

Can anybody advice which extra packages I should install? Or 'yum install ????'

Greetings

From what I can tell, visudo is included in the sudo package. You might check out the sudo home site.

Yes, I typed visudo or /sbin/visudo as root in a command line from gnome-terminal, it echoed something like "command not found".
