"Edit" existing post loses newlines on Konqueror

With Konqueror 3.4.1 on Gentoo, using the "Edit" button on an existing LQ post (of mine) causes all newlines to be stripped out of the text in the editing window (requiring re-insertion to preserve the original formatting).

No problems in Firefox 1.0.7 or Opera 8.02, so this could be a Konqueror bug. Anyone know of a way to work around it?

Thanks for letting us know, there is actually a bug section to the site that helps us track these. I have submitted it to:
