Does anybody know where I can find the apt-rpm metadata files to make the original isos apt-enabled. I can find the FC 1 metadata, but not FC2.

You should be able to create the data yourself with genbasedir. Just copy the packages to something like /tmp/fedora/2/i386/RPMS.core, then run something like:
