Having trouble finding where apt-get installed program on Lindows4.5
Hi, I have configured apt-get to work on my Lindows 4.5 and having downloaded/installed a few programs, but I cant find where they are. Any idea where the apt-get puts the files so I can run them?

Go into settings menu, and select the Menu updating tool ( A.K.A. Kappfinder ) Press scan. It should locate programs you have installed, that aren't in the menu. Now tick the ones you want adding and press apply and close.
Also when launching programs directly from /usr/bin or /usr/games try opening a console and just typing there names. Any problems they have will be reported in the console.
( If the name alone doesn't work try the whole path i.e. usr/games/thegame )

I have found through use there is no kappfinder that I can find, so no update to the Menu. And whereis tells me where apt-get is, but not where the programs it loads are, but I (in my infinite wisdom) figured I could change "apt-get" to "program" and find it, which I did. Still doesn't help me get them in gui, but I found out that some of my programs are console only that way. Thanx
