continue torrent seeding after moving to fedora

Hi!

I am planing to install fedora 11 on one ofmy pcs. Currently is running Windows XP and I am seeding many great torrents now (with utorrent). I made backups of these files, so they will be avaliable in fedora afterwards. But is it possible to continue seeding these folders (with all the current up/down ratios etc) with Transmission (or what the default torrent client for fedora is).

thanks in advance!

Yes sure, all you have to make sure is Fedora sees that same partition those torrent files and their respected directories are on, and then add the same into the torrent client and save to the same directories. I would prefer Deluge (Gnome) or KTorrent (KDE) instead of Transmission.
