changing domain name

Hi,
I'm running fedora core 2 on my machine.i'd like to know if there's a way to change the domain name of my workstation from localdomain to one of my choice.I tried to look up in etc,but couldn't find anything.I tried the file host,but it didn't respond either.Please help.

Applications -> System Settings -> Network (if you're using default GNOME WM) .. otherwise /etc/hosts

hostname is defined in "/etc/sysconfig/network" file.

HOSTNAME=fedorabox.domain.com

u must also define the network address of your hostname in "/etc/hosts" file. otherwise some applications wont work or will work very slowly.

Code:

127.0.0.1                fedorabox fedorabox.domain.com localhost.localdomain localhost
