Changing domain name

Hi,
I'm running fedora core 2 and debian on my p4.I'd like to know if there's a process by which I could change my domain name (from user@localdomain to user@workstation).Please advise.

i wanna say netconfig can do that for you, but im not sure if thats in every distro.

edit: i take that back, im wrong

look into the file /etc/HOSTNAME, i think you should change it to what you want.
