Realplayer 10.0.8 getting to work with firefox2

Installed Realplayer via get-apt update and then apt install etc and it install fine to

/usr/lib/realplayer-10.0.8

Now firefox is installed in home/kiosk/firefox

Since it's not installed in the standard place theres no realplayer plugin installed. So I thought I pop along to the normal firefox install locations and it's not installed in that plugin directory either.

I've searched for suggestions but everyone refers to a different plugin which needs linking to the firefox plugin directory. These files are not in the realplayer plugin directory.

So what do I need Firefox to point too???

You are looking for the files nphelix.so and nphelix.xpt and you want to either copy them to your firefox/plugins directory or place links to those files in your firefox/plugins directory. If you are having trouble finding those files, you could try (as root):

updatedb

let that finish running and then do

Code:

locate nphelix.so

and

Code:

locate nphelix.xpt

Mine are located in my RealPlayer/mozilla directory.
