Progeny Debian: Grub Problems

Hello. I am trying to install progeny debian 2.0 de beta 1, and i am having serious problems with grub. Whenever i install it the install goes very smothely, but when i try to boot up all i get is a screen with grub written in the upper left corner. I am using a intel 2.8 processor with a p4c800-e motherboard and a 120gb sata hdd (i also have 2 73gb scsi drives with windows). The sata drive is in compatibility mode. Has anyone else had this problem, and can anyone help me? Thanks a bunch, iggy.

Hi Iggy,

I don't know progeny, but maybe I can help... Lets do some research:

- What does your /boot/grub/menu.lst look like?
- In which order exactly are your harddisks? (which is the primary master, primary slave, secondary master etc)
- Where have you installed grub? (eg in the master boot record of your primary master)

Hopefully anyone (or me) can help with this info.
