First problem with some keyboard characters. Normally my keyboard does not prin out Alt Gr combination characters like | , @ , etc. But i just run the "xf86cfg" program and do nothing and close the program, then I can print these characters. Any idea?
Second problem with my php. I installed apache+mysql+php4 and just wanted to try a simple php file with mozilla and firefox. But mozilla and firefox can not run php files and ask me to save them. Any solution? By the way, where is the executable php file. locate just returns some library and config files.
Php scripts are executed server side, not by the browser.
If your browser is offering to save the php file the the problem is with the httpd server, not with the browser. You need to tell your
webserver how to handle php files - for example, in my setup (Apache2) I have the following lines in httpd2.conf:
# PHP Configuration for Apache
#
# Load the apache module
#
LoadModule php4_module modules/libphp4.so
