slackware, apache and PHP from .tgz - problems with PHP

Hi!

I`m using pII266 as my home server....so i didn`t want to compile by myself apache, php etc....and i decided to install it from .tgz. There would be nothing wrong with this...but i have a little problem. Everything was working fine, with completly no problems... until i`ve spotted that when i make error in my php script, server just doesn`t show nothing...i mean there is no warning like " parse error in line .... " just empty page. that IS a big problem because when something is not ok, i just don`t know where to look for solution in script ;/. The same script with error on my other www hostings, displays warning about error with no problem :/. I`ve tried php 4.3.6 and now i`m using 5.0.1 both have the same problem... i hope someone can help me

Find following line in your php.ini file:
Code:
- display_errors = Off
the rest is easy...
