Playing a Windows based CD on Linux

I have started using linux for most of my purposes as I really love Debian Linux.

I have a test preparation tutorial CD which only runs on WIndows Machine. Is it possible to run the same CD on Linux using some simulation software.? May be Wine?

Thanks

May be it will work just run CD using following command:

wine /path/to/file/myfile.exe &

I had already setup MS Word 2003 using Wine on all university Linux labs computers.
Please note that it take some time to configure software under Wine.
