Question linux-based windows restore cd??

i'm looking for some kinda live linux system or something that i can use to create a restore cd for windows machines... the catch (one of them) is i that the machines ONLY have windows on them... i'd like to be able to boot the linux cd and have it automatically restore the windows system to like-new condition... the process for creating the restore image should also be done via a live cd which stores the images on a server maybe... i know about mondo rescue but it requires linux to be installed on the machine, and besides the project seems to have been killed by the folks at fastservers.net according to the notice on the front page...

so now i'm thinking' about a solution built-around partimage... i'll bash script this thing around partimage on my own custom live cd if i have to, but before i start trying that i'd like to know if anyone knows about some reputable project that does this kinda thing?? or maybe you have some tips or something??

any input you can give me would be greatly appreciated...

thanks...
