networking ...


hello, everytime i boot debian it asks me shouldit use the current network profile or make a new one ... how do i make it use the old one and do not ask again ?

haven't got my network yet (saving my pennies) so i don't have any experience with it but you could always
/usr/sbin/base-config
to reconfigure the system again,and try to re-set the network configuration.

if this is lame, i apologize ahead of time... but as i said i have no network experience...

If you need to get your ethernet interface working:
dpkg-reconfigure etherconf

thanks i'll try to make something
[edit] etherconf wasn't even installed (there was netenv) so i removed netenv and installed etherconf and now everything is fine [/edit]
