trying to install a Woody on a coLinux I've found that this distro is somewaht bound to immobility and you'll not get from the Woody's sources more than KDE 2.x because of the "stable" branch.
anyway, if you want to install a KDE 3.x on a Woody distro you have to use the so called "backports"
as I've read, backports may be hazardous to the health of your Debian installation, the source where you'll get all unofficial packages is :
www.apt-get.org
the best way to get a KDE 3.x on your Debian is to upgrade to Sarge
