hostname not showing up in DHCP leases table!

Okay.. so I've set the simple default hsotname of 'debian' for now. It's set in etc/hostname, /etc/hosts, and /etc/network/interfaces

Yet still, the hostname section for my debian system is bing left blank under my dhcp clients table. Can someone please tell me why this happening?
