Unhappy DHCP leases file not being generated.

Hi,

I have successfully configured DHCP Server on my Linux
box and works fine.
But for some reason the leases are not being generated
in
/var/lib/dhcp/dhcp.leases or
/var/lib/dhcp/dhcp.leases~

only a header has been appended to it.

Please advise. :-)

check other locations

That location might not be where the leases are being written to. Do a whereis or a locate on the file and see where else that file may be. It could be getting written, but your distribution may have installed it in another location other than the default.
