apt error?

ok, so I did an aptitude update, and the ouput was
Code:
0% [Connecting to ftp.us.debian.org (32.1.7.168)] [Connecting to ftp.nerim.net (32.1.7.168)]
It's showing both repos as having the same ip address. How do I fix this?

First of all, you have Sarge, Etch ,Woody or Sid?Do you have your network configured? Maybe you have DHCP and yo did not conf it properly? If you have GNU/HURD and you want DHCP , forget.

I'm running Debian Etch, it says so in the Distribution field, under my name. I'm pretty sure I don't have dhcpd insalled. My internet works, so I'm getting the correct ip address from my router.

doing an aptitude update isn't the only one having the problem. When I try to compile HandBrake, it uses wget to get some stuff for it to work. It works for a while, then changes the ip address from the one it was using to 1.0.0.0. This is really starting to bother me, please?
