Talking Can't Click With Touchpad

So I'm using Bodhi Linux on a old laptop of mine it's working fine, but it seems that I can only move my mouse. Not click on stuff like opening the file manager. So I need someone to tell me how to active the click back.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm not sure from your description if this is the same issue but this thread shows how to resolve "tap to click". Now, there are still some Moksha dialogs where double-tap doesn't work and I have to use "Enter" but for the most part, this solves it for me.
