debian lenny - STABLE bug.

I have just lost my backup data thanks to STABLE versions of stupid GUI "xfburn".
Of course it was mainly my fault I didn't check if it was written okay or not and just put that away then removed source files from hard disk. Im now wondering what's on that DVD disc, some space looks to be non-empty but mounted disc is empty. Quest for future. Luckily, the data wasn't that way important so that's why I didn't check it, in oppose to other discs I've written that day.
debian lenny is not for desktops. it's stable bug. almost every GUI app I ever used there is buggy and not working as expected. Only console apps good there: never had troubles with any.
I don't even get how did I manage to keep this sh*t on my desktop computer for more than 1 year. I don't get it. I don't get it. I don't get it. CRITICAL ERROR!
I'm not entirely off to gentoo, as my two other PCs already running gentoo. Third will finally join them soon.
Thx debian developers! You provide stable bugs! Kudos! lmfao.
